I was 13 when I accidentally found an abandoned Petri dish in a garden. I didn't yet know that this instrument would change the way I saw the world.

Since then, photography has become a silent thread that has run through every phase of my life. Over the years, I have lived two parallel lives: on the one hand, university studies, on the other, a free and necessary visual exploration.

After some experience in photojournalistic work (with affiliated agencies and international publications such as Time, Der Spiegel, and Newsweek), I felt the need to express myself in a more personal and creative way. I approached advertising photography by collaborating with studios and later co-founded the SpazioVisivo studio in Rome. I worked with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R, and Armando Testa, creating campaigns for clients such as Esso, Ford, Hilton, Mercedes, and Banca Intesa. We were among the first in Italy to use digital electronic imaging, with the American Imaginator system.

Alongside my commercial work, I've always pursued personal research, which has become central today. Since closing my studio in 2016, I've embraced fine-art photography.

My works investigate time, light, and space, dissolving visible reality to evoke traces, atmospheres, and suspended visions.
